Lifebox is fortunate to have the support of anaesthetists and other healthcare professionals from around the world.

Recently, four national societies have launched campaigns to raise funds for our work as part of our Make It Zero campaign:

  • The American Society of Anesthesiologists has adopted Lifebox as one of the projects it raises funds for. You can find more information about how to donate here. As of February 2012, ASA members have raised over US$100,000 for Lifebox.
  • The Australian Society of Anaesthetists is aiming to raise funds to purchase 300 pulse oximeters for Pacific Island hospitals. Find out more about the Society by clicking here.
  • The Canadian Anesthesiologists’ Society is raising funds to support roll-out of pulse oximetry and training across Rwanda.  To learn more or to donate, please click here. To read about the enormous success of this appeal, click here.
  • The American Association of Nurse Anesthetists is the latest organization to launch a fundraising drive for Lifebox. Find out more here.

Lifebox was also chosen by the BMJ as its 2011 Christmas charity. Over £30,000 was raised with the help of BMJ readers; enough to buy 185 pulse oximeters for operating rooms in low-resource countries.
