We are looking for exceptional candidates to support a collaborative project with CARE India to drive quality improvement and anaesthesia care in the State of Bihar.
Located in the eastern state of Bihar, the Fellow will work alongside CARE India – an NGO with over 65 years’ experience in the country. The Fellowship will deliver a sustainable and high-impact QI project in collaboration with CARE’s CEmONC team, in addition to taking part in the delivery of anaesthesia care. Upon completion of the Fellowship, applicants can expect to have completed the ‘Anaesthesia in developing countries’ and ‘Improvement Science, Safe and Reliable Systems’ units within the RCOA 2010 Curriculum.
The Fellowship is open to ST5+ anaesthesia trainees, SAS grades and Consultant Anaesthetists (incl. retired).
The Fellowship is for a minimum of six months with a flexible start date that is candidate dependent. A £1,000 monthly stipend will be paid during the Fellowship, with further limited support towards accommodation and some travel costs.
