Lifebox goes to GAT 2016

The Group of Anaesthetists in Training (GAT) is the junior wing of our co-founders, the Association of Anaesthetists of Great Britain and Ireland (AAGBI).

We’re not saying that trainees know how to throw a more entertaining conference than consultants – but we are saying that GAT’s Annual Scientific Meeting this year has an inspiring range of programmes, workshops and social events, and we’re so looking forward to joining them in Nottingham this week!

Lifebox is a regular at the event, and we’re looking forward to reconnecting with old friends and making new ones.

Thanks to the incredible support of anaesthetists, trainees, students and Lifebox champions across the UK this two year campaign has raised over £70,000 to support safer surgery around the world.

There’s just £26,000 left to raise to reach our fundraising target and you can help make a difference!

At this year’s conference you can support Lifeboxes for Rio by buying raffle tickets for a chance to win fantastic prizes, joining the bake sale as we throw back to the delicious Great Anaesthesia Bake days, or taking some fun photos at the annual dinner.
