Premiered our documentary, The Checklist Effect, on the big screen at the Barbican as part of the Global Health Film Festival!

Launched LifeboxSquared, a fundraising campaign to show our impact and help double our safer surgery capacity around the world

Continued our efforts for the AAGBI’s amazing Lifeboxes for Rio campaign

Voted for our video #SaferSurgeryHaiti, which was nominated for the Charity Film Awards

Debuted our new animated ‘how-to video’ for setting up and using a Lifebox

Delivered our first safer anaesthesia training workshop in the Assam Region, as part of the Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists’ northeast conference in Dibrugarh – and our three-year commitment to #SaferSurgeryIndia with a grant from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation

Caught up with our team working to enhance the Lifebox oximeter and neonatal probe for diagnosis of pneumonia in children under five, to mark World Pneumonia Day

Partnered up with with Citizens of the World Foundation – a charity that works to support anaesthesia providers at Justinian University Hospital in Haiti

Celebrated the launch of the first ever global guidelines focused exclusively on the prevention of surgical site infection, published by the World Health Organization (so relevant to our Clean Cut programme!)

Heard a musical feast by the Salus Quartet, a Belfast based string ensemble that hosted a charity concert to raise funds for our work
