Papua New Guinea
Papua New Guinea occupies the eastern half of the island of New Guinea, and has a population of over 6 million (speaking 841 languages between them). It is one of the poorest countries in the Pacific Region and faces serious healthcare challenges.
The Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA) and Australian Society of Anaesthetists have worked with us to distribute oximeters and deliver training throughout the country, 93 units in total.
