Smile Train is the world’s leading cleft charity and has provided more than 600,000 free surgeries for children. Smile Train believes that education and training are key to a sustained change in global health, and provides free cleft-related training and developed Safety and Quality Improvement protocols for our partners and medical professionals. Smile Train uses the WHO Surgical Safety Checklist, which is proven to reduce patient mortality.
