  2. MedTech Programme Manager
    • Location: Remote (Global)

    • Key relationships: Program and clinical team; partners, consultants and academic bodies; manufacturers, distributors and logistics partners
    • About the Role: Lifebox has bold and ambitious goals around the development and dissemination of low-cost, accessible tools, technology and training for safer surgery and anesthesia. These include the development of new innovations and devices and work around access to medical devices and technology transfer.   3. Perioperative Nurse Trainee – Nursing Leadership for Surgical Excellence Program 
    • Location: Ethiopia – applicants must currently be working at; St. Paul’s Hospital Millennium Medical College, St. Peter Specialized Hospital or Tikur Anbessa Specialized Hospital 
    • Duration: 9 months (January 2023, to September 2023)
    • Time commitment: 6 hours per week
    • Stipend: $140 per month
    • About the Role: If you are a perioperative nurse keen to maximise your leadership, communication and research skills this program is for you! The Lifebox nurse leadership training offers 9 months of accredited teaching and mentoring with a blended approach of in-person and virtual training. You will undertake 11 modules of learning and be mentored to complete a Quality Improvement project – from design, to implementation and publication. The majority of learning is delivered on the job, with 3 weeks of in person sessions spread across 6 months.

  6. Surgical Safety Innovation Fellow 
    • Location:  Global/Remote
    • Duration: 12 months 
    • Stipend: $10 000 for the 12 months

    • About the Role: he fellow will support the development of the surgical headlight and other tools and assess their impact on patient safety at selected facilities in low-resource settings. The fellow is expected to communicate with clinical and program teams of Lifebox and also expected to collaborate with other Lifebox staff in line with agreed project deliverables.
