Lifebox is making it zero

We are launching a global campaign to close the global pulse oximetry gap, to Make It Zero.

Today, 77,000 operating rooms don’t have a pulse oximeter.  The aim of Make It Zero is to eliminate that number, beginning with a two-year, $1.25 million initiative to provide 5,000 pulse oximeters to anaesthesia providers in Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe and Latin America.

The campaign was launched at the 15th World Congress of Anaesthesiologists in Buenos Aires, Argentina on Wednesday 28th March in a special plenary dedicated to all things Lifebox. This session – the Harold Griffith Symposium – was delivered by three of our Trustees; Dr Angela Enright, Professor Alan Merry and Dr Iain Wilson.
