Photo Essay: Lifebox launches Safer Surgery in Central America



With a career spanning over 30 years, photographer Scott Streble is no stranger to capturing a candid moment.

From documenting humanitarian crises to photographing celebrities backstage before an event, Scott’s sincere, eye-catching and honest portrayal of his subjects, helps to showcase them in their most focused state of mind.

In February, Lifebox held two “training of trainer” workshops in San Salvador, El Salvador, which focused on improving surgical safety through teamwork, skills building, and sharing expertise across the Central America region.

Scott travelled to San Salvador, El Salvador, to document how clinicians engaged in Lifebox’s safer surgery workshops.
