Staff and recovery patient_Liunkendage Hospital_IndonesiaIn 2008 the Indonesian Society of Anesthesiologists and Intensive Therapy made pulse oximetry a standard for safe practice.

The problem is the pulse oximetry gap.  It leaves the space between ideal and reality, safety and threat, as wide as ever.

That’s why we’re working with colleagues across Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand to fill it.  With equipment, with training, and with support for colleagues and patients who walk into the Operating Room ever day, knowing the ground could give way.
