This year Lifebox is hosting its first Operation Game Competition, a peer-to-peer fundraiser that brings together surgical students and residents, healthcare providers, and communities to raise funds for Lifebox’s programs to improve the safety of surgery around the world. Surgical programs host a tournament of the classic board game Operation by Hasbro while competing to raise the most funds for Lifebox.
Funds raised will benefit Lifebox’s safe surgery programs, including Clean Cut, Lifebox’s Surgical Site Infection reduction program, and the distribution of the new Lifebox Light, our powerful, affordable headlamp for safer surgery in low-resource settings.
